So, 1st of all, this is my second journal – mainly being as it’s one of the few times I’ve got something decent to write about. I’m also writing this a week late as I wanted to show my pluvious-partner-in-design ~GreyKnight05 some stuff in person before posting it onto DeviantART.

I’ll begin by talking about the best present I could have ever received – an A4 Intuos3. I previously used a small A5 Nisis tablet which had cost me about €30 four years ago. Though after 4 years of using such a small tablet I felt I needed to change it sometime soon as the more time passed, the more complicated and detailed I decided to make my artwork. It also started to work in a strange way for the last year, making it even more difficult to finish a drawing as I’d either get frustrated after trying to draw a widescreen picture with a small tablet or because the pen wasn’t working properly.

Miraculously, I asked my parents for a bigger tablet and – after a good month of ups and down mainly due to the price of the tool (about €500) – they said I could have an Intuos :D Surprisingly enough, it arrived from Germany in less than 48 hours, arriving at 4:50pm on the 13th of March – my birthday :P I’m still experimenting with it though I can conclude that it’s probably one of the best tools an artist can get. I’ll probably post a review for the Wacom after I would have drawn some decent works 

Which leads me to thanking ~GreyKnight05and ~RealPurgatory for the ‘Digital Sci-Fi Art’ and ‘John Howe’s (he’s known for both his concept art and finished works concerning The Lord of the Rings *drools*) ‘Fantasy Art Workshop’. These will obviously help me in creating more decent fantasy art – both in the traditional and digital methods.

On a side note; I saw Watchmen yesterday and I'm still blown away...some say it's too long...I wanted it to be longer! :P It’s a definitive ‘Must see’ :p
